The Wisdom Trust - Our Education Programs - Creating A Wider Awareness.

Online Training.

The Wisdom Trust has developed a new range of online training programs to help registered friends and supporters (and other website visitors) to learn about many of the important issues relating to poverty, environmental matters and world health.

The emphasis of these programs is to develop the participating user's awareness about as many facts as possiblewhener they ise the internet. The user is guided through the facts, often using a multiple choice format with one question and four possible answers.

The user may choose to learn in a ‘quiz-like’ environment, answering as many questions as they wish and where their score of correct answers against incorrect answers is tracked for the duration of that session. Registered friends and supporters may try the quiz time and again, sometimes with new questions and sometimes with old questions. And little by little they'll start to get more and more of the questions correct, becoming more aware on each visit to the website.

Wisdom Trust Roadshows.

The Wisdom Trust Roadshow allows us to take the whole Wisdom Trust show on the road. In this way, we'll be able to set up mobile education programs and mini conferences in any location - schools, church halls, community centres, hotels and any other venue in any town, city or village.

In this way, we'll be able to take the Wisdom Trust message to a wider audience, further strengthening our mission to create more awareness of as many of the important issues as possible.

Conferences.

The Wisdom Trust organises day and half-day conferences, where groups of people can discuss a range of problems facing the future of our planet and talk about some of the possible solutions.

The venue, for the time being, for most of our conferences is our training centre in Caterham, Surrey (UK). However, we hope to expand the number of conferences in future months and in the years to come to include venues in many parts of the UK and even overseas if there is a demand in other countries.

Promoting Eco-Tourism.

The issues of Poverty, Environmental Matters and Health are equally important in every country of the world. The Wisdom Trust recognises this and, as part of our mission, we aim to establish local partnerships in all countries, to educate the local population through our seminars, roadshows and conferences, to promote local issues and raise funds for local projects.

In addition, we will be promoting eco-tourism to our partner countries, through our normal schedule of seminars, roadshows and conferences. We will also aim to organise appropriate educational/fact-finding trips for small groups of our registered friends and supporters to explore the particular problems in our partner countries and to witness any environmental successes as well.

A Footnote On Education...

1. A Fact From Our Library

The serious problem of erosion in Haiti not only makes the soil less productive, but it also makes villages more susceptible to flooding, mudslides, and other natural disasters.
