A Footnote On Education...

Have One TV-Free Day Once A Month.
If you're like the average person, you probably watch TV for between two and four hours every day. So, one day a month (or even one day a week), turn off the telly and turn on your real life (and save a little electricity in the process).
You'll find you've got time to live a little. Spend time with the family or friends, cook, go hiking. Anything besides watching another rerun of the same old sit-coms.
And you'll be saving a little energy too. TVs account for about 3% of household energy use. You could help your children lose some weight too - a recent study found that watching TV contributes to childhood obesity.
