Can You Help?
The Wisdom Trust is committed to playing its part in relieving poverty, protecting our environment and improving world health, and within a few clicks, you too can be part of our work.
As a friend of The Wisdom Trust, you'll be able to raise money for charitable causes by simply being online - whether you're searching or shopping you can have an impact on hundreds of charitable causes and other 'not-for-profit' organisations, worldwide.
As with all the best ideas it's perfectly simple. Whenever you go online, it's likely that your activity is creating advertising revenue or ecommerce commissions. Whilst we can't say exactly where this money goes now, you can make sure that it reaches where it's needed most in the future...

Don't Waste The Slivers Of Soap.
To use up slivers of soap, press them down hard into a yogurt pot, leave to dry and you'll have a large block of soap. Or put them in an old stocking, and hang from the shower head - use this to scrub your back.

For better digestion, try to avoid doing other things while you eat - like reading the paper, working at the computer or (worst of all) eating breakfast while driving to work. Sit with your family or friends and share mealtimes together.

Environment Article
Chinese Factory Turns Environmental Bane into Boon.
China is beginning to take advantage of an unusual energy source: cow gas. Cows emit a significant amount of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, when they belch and flatulate. According to People’s Daily, the world’s largest cow-dung methane power plant started operation in January 2008 in China’s Inner Mongolia region. With an investment of 45 million RMB (roughly $US5.7 million) from the country’s largest milk producer, Mengniu Dairy, the plant is able to supply 10 million kilowatt-hours of electricity to the national power grid.
Using equipment and technology from Germany, the plant processes the dung, urine, and waste water from some 10,000 cows on Mengniu’s farm. The facility is able to produce 12,000 cubic meters of methane and generate 30,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity daily.

If we were intended to speak more
than we listen, we'd have been
